Shot music video with DVX100B

I shot a music video using my DVX100B. Shot it at 30 in squeeze mode. Edited it in Final Cut Pro 7. I would like to upconvert the video to as close to HD as I can get it. Can someone give me instructions on what to do, settings, etc. I've done quick time conversion and chose to convert to HD and am not happy with the results. I'm hoping I just have some settings wrong and can use the help. I have Final Cut Studio 3 so I have access to Compressor as well. I really don't have a lot of time to mess with lots of different settings which is why I am here.

By "shot it at 30" I assume you mean 30P?

Do you need to go to 1080p or 720p? (Vimeo runs at 720p, YouTube will take both). And are you looking for a web-ready format (h.264)? Red Giant, the same great folks who brought us Magic Bullet, have InstantHD available to do this, and it works very well. If you are going to Vimeo and just need h.264, PM me your email and I can send you my Compressor setting for 720p HD upscale.
