Shot film on film under 5,000

Did that include the full post/vfx/sfx? Finished? Box art and released? Recent or in the past?
I DP'ed and did the VFX/on-line for a friend's 10K feature shot on 23 rolls of 16mm back in '98. I know where every dollar went. Amazing learning experience.
I'd love to see somoeone's results with only half that budget!

A screenshot or two would help legitimize your claim. Please don't "double down" with words, it's all vaporware.
Why not share the real details which could benefit future filmmaker who find this thread from your outrageous claim in title.
How did you get the film? Short ends? Recans? Old Stock? 90 mins of brand new Kodak Vision 3 is over your claim of budget already. Also what was the shooting ratio? I assume you didn't use every foot you shot.
Camera? You borrowed or already owned? Glass? Any normal camera purchase or rental would cost well over 5k again, unless it's a Krasnagosk K3.
Post? I'm assuming you had a favor or friend with access to a scanner to get that cost under 5k also? I recently transferred 22 mins at Pro8mm in Burbank for around $800 but that was a black friday special and also the lower Prores transfer option. Did you point a projector at the wall and transfer it with your iPhone?
I'm not saying it's impossible, but honestly without proof of quality, I imagine a lot of out of focus, poorly exposed shots with a SD level or less transfer. Prove me wrong if you like. I have wasted too much time on this thread as it is, this is exactly how a troll would present information - outrageous claim without any proof of legitimacy.
