Shorter component cable for hvx200?

Does Panasonic have a shorter component cable? The one you with it is so long when using it with an onboard fieldmonitor.

i had the same problem with my canon xh-a1 which is a d-terminal on one end and component on the other. i custom shortened mine to 1 foot. you might have to do that aswell

Thats not to bad idea. I leave it open some extra days before i shorten it.

Did you mean you break a modified cable or the original cable?
