Shortcut to "cut clip here"

I'm looking for the shortcut in After Effects that will let me cut the clip where the scrub bar lies. I know the [ and ] shortcut, but that SHIFTS the videos beginning or ending point to the scrub bar. I didn't know the correct term, either, so I couldn't google it.

just to throw another keyboard shortcut in here, i just found out that shift and "-" or "=" will cycle through transfer/blending modes, and i love it.

I'm on Mac and If I press:

Optn+[

Nothing happen!

I done the "[" by pressing "alt+è".

You can also use ctl-shift-D (PC) to split the clip where the scrub bar lies. Each side of the cut is put on different layers.
