GH3 Short we shot on the GH3 (our first movie)

Hehe. Loved it. Short, very sweet and looked good. Nothing too flashy to take away from the simple story. Well done for getting the family involved (or should I say immersed?!). Something to look back on.

Nicely shot! Looked awesome. Maybe a bit overexposed in the 1st shot on the boy. Better to keep exposure a bit darker and then boost the darks in post a bit to maintain a blue sky in the background.

Nice idea, good execution. The idea is a bit too limited for me to be all over it, but job nicely done. Keep it up.

Great image! The major criticism I have of many gh3 videos is that the colors suck. I don't know how else to say it...except that they are very sterile. It reminds me of the Soviet Union in the 1980s...very grey and bland. Sharp yes, emotive no. Has anyone produced great video with vivid colors that draw the viewer in? I wasn't impressed by the Upstream or whatever indie film everyone raves about. It looks very low-budget and plastic. I'm thinking that post sharpening and a 5D resolves better overall.

Hi Jason- I desaturated it a bit - that's why - still playing around with grading - that being said - I chose the GH3 because side by side it just looked better than the 5D. Crisper, cleaner and more cinematic. There's also no moire (that Ive seen so far) and I love the fact that Panasonic listens to their users.

You've been here for the past couple of weeks making many pointless posts. If you prefer the 5D then go and buy it, you are honestly not bringing anything to the community. There is only so many posts we can take regarding your obsession with the 5D.
Please go and buy it and make your own projects, thanks.......

Ps. OP your video looks great!

You're in the minority then - as everyone and their dog seems to love flat profile colors at the moment.

P.S.
The colors in the OPs vid are just fine. Nice and natural
