I'm used to having a full team around the camera so the pixel peepers will have to give me some grace here. this is me experimenting to learn the Camera.
I shot a Music video against Woman Abuse as my first test with the Af100.
This scene is a walk at sunset. (This is not the actual Music Video, this scene is about 5 seconds in the video, here it is extended).
I liked the scene so much that I thought I'd put it to a tune (Pulserusher) and upload it to show you guys.
All natural light, 14/140 lens, no reflected light or any aid whatsoever.
ND was on 4 and I had the iris on auto.
Only shot in there with a bit of help is the tear running down her face and I used the 45 lens for that one.
I regret using so much light for that close up, 'twas a great lesson though!
I am very excited about beginning to experiment with different lighting set ups, the Af101 is Cinematic out of the box! Methinks with a bit of light source sculpting she will hum like the Seven Dwarves!
This is very exciting for me.
Up until I got the Af101 I purely Directed, I didn't even know what the difference was between a zoom and a Prime... Just told a DP what shot I wanted and he did all the work.
I am enjoying setting up shots and fiddling with lenses and lighting a lot more than I thought I would!
