Short underwater movie shot in the Red Sea

Hello there,

Here is the last underwater short movie we have created. It was shot in the south of Egypt between Hurghada and Hamata.

The equipment used here is a 5D Mark II (of course...), an Ikelite housing, Canon EF15mm fisheye, EF 17-40 and EF 100mm macro IS lense.

Tell me what do you think about it.

Wow. This looks absolutely fantastic. I love the wide shots of the schools of fish. Beautiful.

Beautiful shots but lose the black border it's very home video like - golden rule when in doubt don't use effects.

It's a great piece but get rid of the daft blurry edges. It adds nothing and actually takes away from some cracking shots

I think I understand why you used the feathered black borders...maybe you wanted like a home movie 8mm film edge look since the footage was handheld? If so, I would suggest maybe just leaving it for the first few shots and then take it away once you get the camera in the water and the footage is more stable (when the music kicks in)
