Short shot on dvx100a

Any comments?
Just curious, haven't had an audience for it yet. I know the audio at the beginning is crap, it was rushed on poor equipment.

Pretty funny, though the ending was predictable. I think you could cut some footage from the middle. There's a lot of time spent not really moving the plot forward.

The dialogue at the beginning is especially good.
 
Yeah the VO was rushed and done with absolute crap equipment. I always wanted to add some soundtrack music to the middle section, or as mentioned, cut it down a bit, but... unfortunately the project file is now gone from a harddrive crash and I haven't tried to disect the film to make the cuts.
And yes, those were real guns, with one exception being the pistol fired at the end. It was actually an airsoft replica of a .50 desert eagle. Just added the muzzle flash and report.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, i realize it is a ridiculous short barely worth critiquing, but I was going for a very specific comedic tone that not many seem to get-the lead actor and myself are big evil dead 2 fans.

Also, I just purchased an HVX200. Will post a much more serious short in the near future...
