I have this Vocas base plate, and for work with my heavy kit lens 28-135mm F4 Full Frame I also picked this lens support, designed specifically for this lens (it will also work with the APS-C 18-110mm lens). My problem is though that with the large foot of the lens support between the lower pair of 15mm rails, there is virtually no please left on the rails for anything else (FF, mattebox support etc.)... So I'm considering turning the lens support ring 180 deg so that the foot now is facing upwards, like on the Smallrig FS7 Accessory kit (http://www.smallrig.com/smallrig-professional-accessory-kit-for-fs7-fs7ii-2045.html) - see the pic below. I'd like to devise a way of attaching a pair of short rails to the SmallRig plate I have (the one which "surrounds" the OEM handle), and use my Vocas 28-135mm lens support to them; this way I'd free the space on the main (lower) rods...
What solution do you guys recommend? Judging by the fact all photos of Smallrig accessory kit, the kit lens support is pointing upwards - I reckon the're coming with a solution, but it's sometimes so difficult to communicate with Paris
The Vocas own top handgrip kit would do exactly want I'm after, but ouch! - the price is Euro 520 (plus shipping, VAT and duties). Anything cheaper crosses your mind? I'd rather leave the OEM handle, as a new one wil always be too expensive for me right now - even the new one from Smallrig... Opinions welcome

PS. So basically, all I need is a thin/low profile 15mm rod clamp, that would fit to my Smallrig 1586 plate at its front edge and not collide with the OEM handle. Anyone saw such a thing?
