Hey all... Here's a short kids film that was shot about 3 years ago. I was told that for a time, footage was used by Panasonic to show off the richness of color that the DVX could capture.

You may also recognize some of the actors in it. The lead kid is in the new movie Benchwarmers, and the dad is Tom Virtue, who was also the dad in the Disney show, Even Stevens.

This was produced by the production company I work for. I was just a set PA on this production. I hadn't gotten into the DP'ing/editing yet.

Hey that was pretty cool...was that shot for a fundraiser kickoff? Was that the project being filmed in your "Day in the Life of a 2nd AD?" documentary?

Yep, it was shot for a fundraiser, and yes it was what was being shot when I did the doc. :)

That was very cute, I thought it well done. Nice script and acting job and final resolution. I watched to the end because they made me care.

HA! Excellent! Those kids did a fantastic job at acting! I thought the lines were good, they weren't cheesy or anything, just really well done man! Really enjoyed it.
