Hi guys, so we made a film for the 48hour comp. please check it out and like, I hope you'll like it. Any Feedback is appreciated and in advanced thanks for watching.

Shot with a d7000, a homemade dolly and some home depot lights. I learned everything from this awesome forum, thanks again guys/gals.

Outstanding. Im amazed at how well you got hte lighting. What did you use for sound?

I recently shot a short (should be released in a month or so), with several scenes in a school and the classroom florescent lights were killing me. I had 4 160LED lights, but was tough to get it right all the time. (Then again my classroom didnt have a window, looks like maybe yours did? ) Either way, some really nice shots, great composition.

Story flowed, well and acting seemed tight too. Great job on a 48 hour, this is a nice quality piece.

After some more thought, I like this film so much I've decided to feature it on my blog as the Short Film of the Week. You join the ranks of some very talented film makers. From indie wonders to the man Martin Scorcese himself! Feel free to leave any comments about your experiences making the film etc...

You can view the blog here

Congratulations!

Thanks guys, I'm glad you liked it. To answer your questions we used a small softtbox and i boarded up the windows of the class to make it seem like night time, and the sound was actually done with just the on camera mic of the d7000, we had a shotgun Mic but we didn't have time to sync the audio so we mostly used the on camera Mic, surprisingly it doesn't sound so bad, right?

Jon i checked out your blog, awesome! thanks a lot. it means so much, I will share this with the team and the cast thank you.
