This is a short fillm I wrote and directed. Took about a year from concept to completion. First screenplay I've written; shot on an HVX and a DIY 35mm adapter.

A little on the long side but please have a gander and let me know what you think!

I liked it! Lots of strong stuff in it, and best of all, your two leads are likable and compelling. There's some parts that drag, especially in the car. I think it wouldn't be hard for you to cut another 3 or 4 minutes off the entire film. Are you going to add fake driving backgrounds for the car scene? I'm assuming most of that was green screened or something.

Also, I don't know how much CC you've done, but some of the shots don't match completely. One example is how much darker she looks in her close up in the park bench scene.

Great work though. I'm about to start a short soon, and I was inspired by several of the shots you had in this.
 
looks really soft and the boke doesn't look to good.. IMO...
but the film was great.

by the way, how did you capture audio? mic?
