short film with a FX 1 pal

Hi to all.
I´ll work like a DP in the next short film of a friend mine . I never used before this cam, I´m a DVX guy.
I´ll shoot in HDV and the short film will be shoot in interiors and ext. night with a lot of hars light.

Any suggestion? what kind of things I must avoid?

I you are going to DVD and you dont want to make slow motions, use CF25 at 1/50.
I would turn sharpen down to avoid certain backlight issues.
Try with skin tones, sometimes they are usefull sometimes not.
WB is esential.
Dont close the iris too much.
And use good lighting too!
