short film trailer - comments please!

Follow the link below to the trailer of a film I've made. Any and all comments are welcome. You might want to make sure your screen is as bright as it can be because the footage shows up pretty dark on certain monitors.

pretty dark looking movie, I like the visuals and the idea, some of the acting looks rough though

Yeah, but the actors worked for free. I'll start hiring better ones once I have more money...

This is a pretty sharp trailer; a little tightening could help as it is a bit drawn out; I'd like to see it lean on the TEASER side of things myself; I see it has already won some awards and is getting some exposure so it might be a day late and adollar short in that respect.

I love the concept and the location is great. The acting is indeed rough; and for future reference? There are tons of talented actors that do not require CASH fo work; sometimes its the right project, copy and credit. Bad acting, like so many elements in filmmaking, will hold the project down.

Anyway, this looks pretty cool and I love horror/scifi/suspense

Hey man, liked the visuals and I can see the story would be interesting... but the actors suck. You dont have to pay good actors... just have to look really hard for the ones who will work for free and want to build up their reels. So dont pick bad actors just becasue you have no money... ater all we all have no/little money (at least most of us poor lonely filmmakers )... so just spend more time casting... its an important part of the process.
