Short film Thursday

These are some grabs from a short film I'm shooting titled "Thursday". 2 shoots done and 3 more to go. These are grabs take from Windows Media player and minor color correcting. I haven't even dumped the footage into Cineform yet. Just print screen from WMP and pasted into photoshop. All the pixel peepers, don't even waste your time typing. I'm not here to hear your feedback about the Gh1. This is mainly just to talk about production on the shoot and what not. First time lighting. Second time directing.
Check back every now and then as there will be more uploads with every shoot.

thanks guys. negative on the video right now. i haven't even begun to done anything beside capture some grabs from media player. only thing i've done so far was skim over them. so far each night has been 9-10hr shoots. on top of 40hrs at work. i'm pretty exhausted to even render any video out. maybe once the final shoot is done i'll start posting little snippets.

haha. yeah i guess it does. i really liked that shot too, but it was so rushed that i'll end up probably taking it out. we had 25mins left in the bar and about 2 more angles to shoot. came out way too dark, cause i didn't have enough time to set up the lights.

Some good looking shots. I like the look of the bar scene in general, just one or two that appear too dark. Look forward to seeing some footage when you get a chance.

yeah the bar scene was a bit of a problem due to only us having 20-25mins to setup 5 shots and run through about 2 minutes of dialog. but it's cool. i was trying to keep the exposure down and match it to something like this picture. i think i did pretty good considering.

so almost done. i had to "let go" the girl in my cast due to some conflicts, so I'm reshooting two scenes. more images will be uploaded tonight from sat/sundays shoot. only 2 scenes left and i'll be finished. filmmaking is awesome, but man it can be exhausting if you work a 40hr a week job...!
