Short Film "The Undoing"

A little short film my friend an I did the other day. We had an afternoon to kill so we thought we would see what we could come up with. Hence....the Undoing. Shot and edited in a few hours.

This was done for fun quickly without any crew and a very minimal equipment list. While I always encourage constructive criticism just keep those things in mind. Le me know what you think.

Some cool stuff give how quickly and randomly you said you put this together. Stuff by the tracks looked really nice. Looked hot, you could see the heat distortion. I would have cut back on the soft brurry filter thing you used or was that a blurred vignette or something. Kinda makes it a little "video-y" Also maybe a little to much contrast in the B/W shots, not a big deal. I was also hoping the piece wouldn't end on a "gag" ... I was wrong... Oh well that's just me. Otherwise fun to watch. I actually did think it was going to be a cat or something, so you must've done something right!

Thanks Jester. Yeah it was hot. round 94 degrees or something like that. I did use a vignette filter from color. I could probably dial it back a bit. I'm a little surprised you think there is too much contrast in the night time shots. I was going for the not being able to his his face just his outline. Also I only had my camera and tripod with me so we had to use stand up floor lamps outside the windows to light it up haha. We took the globes off so it was just the lightbulb. I had to boost the whites so it looks like the window was all white instead of having a lit ball in the window if you know what I mean.
