wow. an M2 adaptor huh. how'd ja get rid of the vinetting and have sharp focusing?

Yeah, what lenses were you using? Looks great. I have an M2 but never pulled images as clean as that.

was there vignetting and what lenses were used on the shot were there is vignetting?

it still vingettes. look at the other video stills. Redrock really needs to use a condenser lens, if they dont already. it will remove the Vingette.

Very nice job. Great lighting, and the behind the scenes photos were very appreciated.

Just because I am a huge dork... was that a Nikon FE-2? Most of the old nikons look the same but that looks like my favorite camera, which I also own.

(I bought it after the lenses. I figured if my M2 could have 6 very nice lenses, I should at least buy a nikon body)

Hey! I thought this thread was long gone! Thanks for the comments.

Settings for this shoot usually was cine-v, cine-gamma, +3 sharpness.

I check the focus on the ground glass as much as I can, which is a real pain. Not being totally open on both the hvx and lens helps too- the HMIs and Kinos help immensely. We had a 4 foot kino, 1200hmi fresnel and 400 joker plus my tungsten kit.

Only two lenses - 20mm 1.8 sigma, and a 50mm 1.4 nikon.

I'm not sure what the old Nikon film camera was, but I definitely like the focusing assist on it way more my d70 when using manual lenses.

There is some vignetting but very nice lighting. I like it.

the vignetting is very apparent on the 20mm- due to the lens itself. Some might show up at the 50mm but it doesn't jump out at me. anyhow, i tend to like vignetting in some situations and even add it in post to about half of my still photography.
