Going to jump back on the saddle with a new short film, tentatively titled STOW. Usually don't get a good name til the end.
Concept is going to be about creating an urban legend in the park, using actual history to create a fictitious event. Idea is to be a thriller, similar to that of Paranormal Activity. Having directed dark comedies and dramas, this will be a new challenge.
Will be pitching the project for crew members come tomorrow and while I have an almost completed script, I know it's in it's first draft stages and I need the action and motivations to be tighter.
Not sure the best way i'm going to film this. As it takes place outdoors during the day and night, I think i'm going to do most of it day for night as I can't afford to bring in giant lights to create the proper lighting.
That's it for now, going to get my 2 min pitch all ironed out and I'll keep it updated here!
