Thanks GH2, the hacks - hunter ricards! and everyone on DVXuser Forum.
It took 2 years to make this crazy totally uncompromising work.
And the fexiblity of the setup made it possible for me to work in this very personal way

I'm speechless...

Joking. Congratulations. A great achievement and you got to visit Venice! And I second the request for a viewing.

That would make his short film ineligible for a lot of other festivals. So I would suggest simply a trailer of some sort.

I also have to thank that CRAZY long anamorphic thread started by RICH LEE and everyone in it (some good came out of that madness for me).
Vitaliy_Kiselev for hacking the GH1 and GH2, which made me switch from the 5dmark2, into a cheaper smaller camera, which kicks in it's butt for deep focus landscape moving images(from my test).

This film started out as a video installation at the Singapore Biennale, after that I reedited it and went in production more to transform it into a short film.
Here are the trailers from the Singapore Biennale, these are made with footage that didn't make it to the final edit. Unfortunately it's making festival rounds , so the rule which they insist having is that I keep it offline.
I have been approached for festivals in America and others in Europe, however it's not confirmed. So if the film makes it further and is screening around your area (I will post it in this thread), please come and watch it in it's full glory with 5.1 surround sound.
Yes, the GH2 can hold up in a cinema with this crazy aspect ratio of 3 : 3 :1

Press Conference right after the premiere with another short film director Mattias Gustafsson (START) also in competition. Mattias's film was also really interesting and pushing the limits of what a small camera setup can do to achieve new ways of seeing and telling a story.

Brilliant work =), the pictures are touching. I'm sure they must be even better on big screen and when I'm not thinking all the time about how you achieved it. Actually thats kind of a thing, thats kept me and my friends from enjoying a lot of films lately, when you are more thinking hei how was this effect achieved, where is the camera right now, where are the lights... =)

My question is what did you use as a camera equipment and how did you use the hack since you mentioned it.

Keep up the good work =)
