Very nice! Thanks for going with divx. I don't think you can beat it for file size / quality.
Good production values throughout -- great actors, lead and supporting -- wonderful music. I particularly liked the pizzacto stuff when the realtor slips on the water.

Some of the zooms seemed jerky and bothersome at times, but that could be the playback I suppose. Personally, I wanted some resolution for the realtor at the end as far as selling the house. From the first time we see the Smiths it's obvious why they're there (or maybe I have a sick mind), so I thought perhaps there'd be some other use for them as well.

Overall this is a fun, well-made short and should be very well received if you go the festival route (or do you have other plans?)

it looked like it needed de-interlacing or something, all movement in the file had lots of artifacts around it.

Thanks Owen for the elaborate critique. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes I think the camera was a bit jumpy sometimes. FiL, I tried de-interlacing and it came out choppy, It may have something to do w/ the compression , same with the artifacts...

For everyone else who hasn't seen the movie. Please, be patient. I think it will be worth your time. Remember, its in DiVX format, so you need the DivX codec on your computer to play it...
VLC Player and the lastest version of Quicktime will play it for sure...

Please keep the feedback coming,
Thank you.

Yes -- definitely worth the download. This could function as a pilot for TV. That's one reason this board is so great. It's like getting free movies or tv shows with no commercials... and then getting the chance to discuss the work with the creators!

For the record, I used BS Player to view it (you can use pretty much any AVI player you want once you install the divx codec)
