Short Film - Guerrilla

nice, over exposed in parts tho.

how could u shoot outside in TO without people coming and waving in the camera spoiling everything lol

yeah montreal is crazy, lived there for about a year, however it is easier to find people to take parts in your short films there in montreal than toronto

bwt how did u make the colors in the street parts are yellow and parts blue ? also in the hallway they were different colors, iam sure they wernt spot lights

I think the onboard mic was used, expescially on the inside shots. The outside shot of him talking on the phone sounded better.

I was just about to say the same thing, You could tell when he got closer to the female actor as the sound became much louder.

where in montreal do you live?

<-- beaconsfield.

video was pretty cool, but your actress was not very convincing.

i live outside of montreal. in the laurentides. i used a shotgun mic for all the movie. outside the sound is perfect because it'S outside. because you don't have to deal with echo. inside it'S different you can hear ventilator motor and stuff like that. a shotgun can be tricky when you shoot indoor . you hear all the little details . i didn't want to redo the sound because i wanted to keep it real and true. the sound for a shot gun mic is always better outside.

i've boosted the color with level. it was the natural settings on the location . all green and blue. it was a beautiful hotel with fun colors.

I guess that wouldn't really matter if you had a boom operator following the mic.

Doesn't a shotgun mic do that anyway? Lets the voices get louder as they get closer? It's not auto...
