My friends and I on whim attempted to enter the Assassin's creed II IFC Media Lab competition. It required you to create an original script (not based on the game) that hit certain story tenants (though, judging by the winners they basically just wanted you to make an extended trailer for the game ;-) ) If I'd have known that, I wouldn't have bothered even writing a script.
Here it is...shot on the HMC-150. Cut on Final Cut. Turns out making a period piece with a micro budget and about a week of planning is harder than you would think. We may not have won, but we had great time making it...easily the most fun I've had working on anything...
