Short film - family portrait

Hi everyone,

This is my very first short film.
It's from a few years back and was shot on Super 8 and a miniDV cam (a sony pd150).
Because it was the first, it was a one man army.
I wrote, shot and edited it myself because i lacked the confidence to ask people to help me.
Since then, I've done 2 more 10 min shorts, both with a real crew (albeit small ones), and three 3 min shorts.
I'll be uploading them in the following weeks.

I'm still discovering how to get my films seen.
When I made them, i was more concerned by the process itself.
Never really thought about how to get them some screen time.

I just watched and I thought this was well-made and atmospheric. I'm not exactly sure what happened though. But that is just me. It might be helpful to put a warning about the sensuality.

If you would not mind, could you perhaps explain to me some of the story? Was this all a flashback in the mind of one character, or was it different events in the same household occurring in the present, or was it something else? Sometimes, even with major films (Vanilla Sky, for example) I can have a hard time understanding things that others may grasp before me.
