I wish it was in TIFF. It's always nice in your hometown. However, they said they really enjoyed the film and that it was real close. Unlike the typical rejection letter, the director of our film got a friendly telephone call.

I hope we can see your film there!  From the clips it looks great!
There's an explanation for the look of the third clip. We were staying in a flat over the convenience store in this small town just outside New Delhi. We decided on a whim to create a scene using the friends we made in the store. It was freezing and very little fluorescent light. We had to drop the shutter down to 1/24th to get it to a decent level. It's the only time we did this in the movie. It's amazing how much this scene add to the character development. We shot the scene in an hour just before the girls dad came home who would have flipped had he found out about this. Sound was tricky because we couldn't dub the girls lines later in Toronto. We shot the scenes several times and used the in-camera audio.

I collect those.  :D The storytelling is great, and is the most important. I want to see the rest of the movie. The third clip, where the money falls from his pocket, seemed more blurry or something. Was it in 60i?
