Short DH MTB film shot on D90

http://vimeo.com/7271048

This is a short video i shot out at Gawton with a local PINNER Luke Ball.

He was riding mad all day and never moaned about the one or ten more times he had to do that turn.

As you can see oozes speed and style.

shot on a nikon D90 with nikon 80-200 and 50 1.8 and a sigma 15mm fish eye.

used a velbon tripod and home made steady cam.

go on my website and blog to see more still photos from the days shoot and my vimeo account for more vids ive shot using the D90

Great shots. Any details on your home made steady cam? I really want to make one, im so jealousy of your footage you were able to obtain with it.

Your colors are really vibrant and nice looking, did you apply any color correction?

Looks like you did commit one D90 sin, by not locking your exposure during some of the shots (you can see the light levels bounce around a bit) but honestly its not to bad and since your shots are all pretty fast jump cuts its not to distracting (i probably just know to look for it)

its a bmx rim. with a wooden strut 2 3rds down. with a screw through it that goes in to the tripod socket. i then put tennis racket handel tape on the edges and a lead weight on the bottom. if you want more info i can do a blog post on it on my site...
