loved the first shot, very well composed and edited. How did you go about doing the flashes? It looks similar to a blowout effect I used in AE once, is that what you used?

thanx.... it was edited in FinalCut, and the effect is "additive dissolve"

Damn, does anybody know if Avid Xpress Pro 5.7.2 has an equivalent effect? I could do it in After Effects, but thats a bit of an extended out-of-the-way workflow for an effect this simple.
