Shooting with tripod on shaky platform

Hi,

Somewhere in all of the DVX200 review or instructional videos, I saw a mention of a setting that is useful for shooting from a shaky or shuddering surface, on a tripod.

I know about the OIS function, but as far as I can remember, this was something different. Anyone have a clue what this might be, or is my memory playing tricks.

Thanks ...

It is the OIS function.....you can customize it.

SW SETUP -> CUSTOM O.I.S.

You can set the system to better compensate based on the amplitude and frequency of the "bumps".
