Shooting with the DVX-100 in 24p mode.

When shooting with this camera in the 24p mode then digitizing into an AVid Xpress pro throught the firewire do I loose the effect of 24p. I have been shooting with the CanonXL1 and may possibly shoot my next project with this camera. I want to be sure I am getting it correct. How do I get this 24p image into the Avid. Is there a setting or does it just come out of the camera correctly.

When using Xpress Pro and you are in a 23.976 project, the flags are autmatically detected when shooting with 24p ADVANCED. You can also select the audio delay in the digitize window to compensate for the 1-2 fraqme audio advance with this camera.
