shooting with DVX and canon rebel t3

I am shooting using 24p adv.. with my dvx100a.... but I also have a canon rebel t3.... says its shooting in 25p... I was thinkngi of using the canon as a secondary camera but i was wondering how well the two will mesh on my24p timeline....

anyone?

Switch your t3 to 24p and your footage will match frame rates. Frame size is another story. You will either have to scale one up or the other down for the frame sizes to match.
If you shoot both at the same frame rate they should match in your 24p timeline. At least in Premiere they will.
 
No, it does shoot 24p. You simply have to switch it from PAL to NTSC mode in your menu settings. Also, make sure the DVX is set to the same shutter speed (go for about 1/30) as the T3i (it will shoot 1/30 too). Then buy Barry Green's DVX Book already! Lol
