Hey Guys,
Next weekend i will be shooting on a HVX200 for my thesis. I'll be renting it from a local renting agency with some Nikon Primes to go along, your standard wide, normal and perhapes a zoom. Anyway i'll be using the M2 with the Lenses and recording onto a Firestore.
I want to make the shoot go as smoothly as possible so i've read into the HVX and all its functions and i use a DVX100 on all my other small projects anyway so the step up won't be that much of a learning curve.
My question to you all is, is there anything during the workflow when on location that you find you could do without, or anything you could warn me about when shooting with the HVX i need to watch out for.
I'll be hoping to shoot variable frame rates and possibly interval shooting.
My set up is pretty basic, got a 250GB hard drive to load the selected MXF files onto, from there working on windows (not chosen an editor yet, again help here would be grand). And well, hope to have it done in a few weeks.
Will post the results here of course
.
Thanks for your help.
