Shooting Video with the 5d Mark II with IR filter???

Hi some some videos that look really neat. The were shot with a IR filter. So I bought one..its 720nm. Its very dark red looking. Problem is I can get anything on the sensor. It just to dark. Is there some special settings I need to do? Tried ISO 3200 low shutter 1.4 and still do dark..shooting in full light.

You probably need an IR modified 5D2 to use it. If it's anything like other Canon's the 5D2 will filter out most of the IR, so if all you give it is IR then you will get nothing.
