F55: Shooting Vertical

I own an F55 with the Sony OLED viewfinder and have an ongoing project that I shoot in a frame left up vertical format that I plan to shoot with this camera. I typically have mounted the the cameras that I have used in the past using an L shaped cheese plate that mounts to the tripod head and then to the camera or bridge plate etc. to give the proper orientation. Using this method has always been a compromise and made it difficult at best to use an attached viewfinder. Do any of the camera accessory designers that monitor this forum have a better solution? I was thinking a system that allowed the camera body to be turned and mounted for the left side up vertical orientation and also somehow allowing for the viewfinder to be oriented left side up while still facilitating the articulation needed for proper positioning and use.

A photo of your previous rig in this configuration might help your cause and others to understand what you are trying to achieve.

I've been on a few shoots myself with the C300 where we did the same thing but with the right head you can get it to go completely vertical and don't have to use any cheeseplate. Sounds like you already have that bit sorted out and are only considering how to adjust the VF. You can try Solid Camera for a custom bracket, or just look into a Noga articulated arm or something similar.
