GH2 Shooting the 2012 Solar Eclipse with a GH2?

I'd like to film the annular solar eclipse tonight -- it's passing right over where I live, so this is a once-in-several-decades opportunity. Currently, my plan is to use my Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm stopped down to f/11 with my LCW Fader ND, which I'll have at maximum strength before pointing up at the sun, and then adjust accordingly. Is this safe? Will I risk melting my aperture blades, or worse, my GH2 sensor? Is there anything else I should know before starting? Thanks!

Bump.

Would like to see some collective input on this for I have some interest in "possible" damage as well.

My LCW Fader ND stopped all the way down, with a 55mm lens stopped down to f/16, worked beautifully. No apparent sensor damage on the GH2. Here are three stills from the video I shot:

I got there late, only the last couples of minutes were shot. From about four minutes sped up to 1 mins. GH2 with Tokina 300mm. No aparently damage.
