The Dude Abides
Fat Monster Films is shooting a promo for the San Jose TechMuseum in downtown San Jose this coming Monday (March 15) and Tuesday (March 16). We will be shooting on the Enterprise Bridge set that is currently on exhibition at the museum as well as using the Transporter Room and an exterior location. The plot involves an uptight geeky visitor to the museum who dozes off in the IMAX theater, then wakes up as the Captain on the bridge in the midst of a heated battle with a Klingon Warbird. The film will be very tongue-in-cheek while hopefully giving sufficient homage to the beloved series.
Tim Abell (Soldier of Fortune etc. http://www.timabell.com/biography.php) will be the lead.
We have enlisted the considerable support of the Northern Cali Trek community and the shoot promises to be a blast. We wanted to see if any DVXUSERs within driving proximity might wish to assist us. Budget is, as always, tiny but we can put you up and feed you if you'd like to crew. PM me or send me an e-mail to vislaw@yahoo.com
