I am a new user of a hvx200.
Going to utah next week for shooting snowmobile action sport.
Lots of the shooting ar going to be used in slow motion.
Is it best for me to shoot in 720/50p?
And is there anyone who have a good tips for the manual settings of this camera?

I would suggest using the variable frame rates in the camera. I shoot slowmo by setting the camera to 72024pn and then going into the scene file menu and change the frame rate to 60, thats the slowest the camera goes, you have some different options between 24 and 60, I think you can do variable frame rates in 72030pn too.... not positive. To do variable frame rates you have to have the camera in film mode.

ok, how will it be if i shoot everyting in 60p and make it slow motion in vegas vs shoot variable framerates?
Because, I don`t know all the time what clip I will use in slow motion and what I will use in "realtime"

Well, I guess since it sounds like shooting things twice, once in 60p and once in 24p mode is out of the question, you could just slow down the clips you need, and just play back the clips you don't in 60p

Yes, that`s what I thoght,,,, because I`m not the only one who use the camera when we are out riding snowmobile, I ride my self. and when the camera are going to be use by lots of pepole, I think it will be best to use one setting if it`s posible. Will then the 60p be the best allround setting? And use 1/500 - 1/1000 shutterspeed and auto iris?
