Shooting Snow in Daylight

Re: Shooting Snow in Daylight

make sure you're not underexposed because it's gonna be too gray and it won't look good!

Re: Shooting Snow in Daylight

Put a polarizing filter on your badboy 8) and watch your zebras.

Good luck

Re: Shooting Snow in Daylight

it's normal to have a little bit of zebra when you shoot snow on a sunny day!

Re: Shooting Snow in Daylight

Phooey, I just got back from the shoot and read your responses. I didn't even think about zebras. I'm about to look at the footage and see what I came up with. I had no monitor, and the LCD was cold (-30 in north pole) so I couldn't really see what was going on.

I don't have a polarizing filter, what exactly can it do to help?

Re: Shooting Snow in Daylight

If you can, always shoot with zebras! Very, very, useful tool.
