Shooting Restrictions or Guidelines

What are the restrictions or guidelines with shooting at public areas?

Our location an intersection on a street with lots of businesses surrounding, we shot several cars, none were extras in our movie, just regular people, are we able to use those shots without written forms from those driver(a)?

Depends where you are. China and USA have very different laws. Even within the US, each city has their own rules and enforcements.

An area open to the public doesn't always mean that you don't need release forms. Best bet would be check w/ the city's public affairs or film office, they should have information for you.
