GH4 Shooting raw with a GH4

Has anyone with a GH4 tried shooting video using the burst still mode to get a raw file sequence? The official specs seem to say you can only record 40 raw images, so not enough, but worth an experiment perhaps? Maybe with smaller size files? I like to shoot timelapses with my GH2 shooting raw and like the image quality you can get. I would rather have raw 1080 video than 4k I think.

The stills speed is like 12 FPS at best. This isn't a Nikon 1 with its 60 FPS burst.

There is an experiment you can try using optical flow technology to create in between frames. Of course no where near perfect and honestly one would be insane to shoot that way but a fun experiment. You basically use optical flow slow motion rendering in a program like Adobe After Effects to build the in between frames. When AE uses this for slow motion it spreads the frames out and creates new in between frames so the slow motion is smooth. You can use the same concept with your low 10fps video sequence.

Not very practical and can lead to all sorts of odd artifacts but again can be a fun experiment.

turn of shutter and shoot in burst at 40 raw frames per second. its proably gonna buffer after 1 sec.

Im at work right now, so I cant test, but I think you can do 40fps raw in MF mode. AF slows it down to 12fps. Im pretty sure on this.
