Shooting piano clip in 24p?

Hello,

i am still quite new to the dvx and would like to know your opinion on what settings I should use when shooting a classic piano clip? I believe 24p will give me the best look and the shutter around 250? I'll probably make it a b/w clip in post production.

I've also just built a dolly on skateboard bearings to get some stabile moving shots and will be testing this out tonight.:)

You might want to just leave the shutter angle at 180 and test that before changing it upwards. That gives a pretty nice filmic look if your scene is lit properly.

There's no shutter angle on a DVX. The equivalent shutter speed would be 1/48.

1/250 will be very choppy and require a great deal of light.

But to answer the question -- use whatever you think fits your project best. Only you can make that determination.
