Shooting in UV light

I'm shooting in a bowling alley and the director wants to unleash the 'Rock 'n' Bowl' for the finale. Anybody got any tips for shooting under UV lights? I'm somewhat in the dark...

bump.....I need help with this too..anyone know anything about shooting under UV lights?

I tried searching UV but its too short as a search term.

If you dont find it in the forums, I would say go out and film, it would be a lot faster and easier for your stress level. Go out to a Place that has UV lights and shoot, till you get what you want. Then come back and let us know what your settings are. I am sure there are people that might run into the same issues.

I would love to see what you come up with. Post the footy in the footage section.

You dont have to spend any money to do this, go to any local bowling alley, 90% of them have the weekend Wacky Light bowling :) go there ask if you can film the lights, and take the 30 mins and play with settings. I would be intrested to see what your outcome is.

oookeee....

I'll be happy to impart my knowledge on UV lighting once I have some.
I was just wondering if anyone else had worked with them?

and why dont I just go out and shoot it? because I dont want to set up the shoot, spend money on the set and then realise its not working how I planned.

I dont have a whole heap of time to go to somewhere with UV lights to test, I was just hoping for a couple of pointers.

Adam,
Ignore those who think they are better than the rest and tend to be condescending. Here's a link to some info I found utilizing Google. I hope it helps.

Editing for clarification: Isn't it interesting how the wording of someone's response to a post can change when it's pointed out that they are being far from helpful. A response with actual helpful information is far more positive and moves this forum forward as compared to telling someone to spend time and money to find out on their own. After all being helpful is what this forum is supposed to be all about.
