Robbie Comeau
Como's back. back again
If anyone knows the DVX as well, it would be great help.
In January I'm shooting a film for Lossfest, all outdoors, in the cold, (-5 to +8) celsius degree weather.
How will the RODE NTG-2 handle in this weather?
We're looking for snow to be falling (not rapidly crazy).
I have a dead cat on my mic as well.
My question: What can I do for the mic itself, to keep it protected? Or is snow find to land on it? (The snow would land on the dead cat first).
Does the XLR Cable it self need to be protected? (I know the end plugs do, but the long 30ft cable it self, I'm pretty sure can get wet)
Let me know your advice on shooting in snowy wet conditions.
I'm planning on getting a portabrace to!
Thanks,
Robbie
