This past May I spent a week in Guatemala with a couple colleauges. We were working on three different projects, two of which involved shooting in the gang section of a Guatemalan prison.
Our Guatemalan hosts had tried to secure all the permissions but one federal authority wasn't down with our plan so we were not granted access. However, our incredibly well networked Guatemalan friends used their connections to get us in the prison anyway - with a good amount of gear (XH A1 with SGBlade, XL H1, audio gear, tripod, Cinesaddle).
Here is a little teaser of the final product - which will only be about 5-10 minutes long.
