I´m going to shoot a "rave" tonight in a pretty big club and I need some help with what settings works best and if I need some additional lights. Please help me!

Re: Shooting in a club... Need help..

I don't have too much to offer in terms of tech, but I would guesstimate exposing for the highlights and available light (stagelights, lasers, strobes, whateva) and just go with it.

The silo's of the rave crowd I think would actually add to the imagery as oppossed to shoving a light in their face; ya know, kind of messes with their trip. ;)

would you recomend 24p or 60i for something like that?

I'd say since you don't have control over lighting, 60i would be the safest mode. If you do have control, that's good but may, as John says, mess with their trip. Otherwise, if you want to go 24p, make sure you have plenty of practice in low light. Remember, there is no gain in progressive modes.
