shooting for Client Plasma/LCD Upconverting DVD player, web

shooting where end product will be on clients lcd/ and plasmas w/ upconverting dvd player as well as their website. a few questions...

shoot 1080i, 720p or dvcpro50 for the above? there will be a lot of slow panning so which framerate will give me the smoothest pans?

If you won't need HD down the road, I'd shoot DVCPro50 at 30P. You won't have to resize, and this is the least compressed format the camera can shoot.
 
Loads better. No jaggies, and with slow pans, the lower temporal resolution of progressive is a total non-issue.
