Shooting at 60 frames. Does it pull you down to 720p?

Question that might sound dumb to some, but I really appreciate your input. When you are shooting at 1080p 24p and use VFR at 60, does it lower your resolution to 720p?

Thanks

Oh yhea, thats what we want to achieve. I just wanted to know if it actually pulled down the resolution. Like the REd, when you use slow motion, it pulls you down to 2K instead of 4K

No, the AF100 does variable frame rates in 1080p mode. It also expands the recording compression bitrate to accomodate the extra frames so you don't take a hit in compression either.

The newer RED cameras keep you at the same res for most overcranking. It only drops to 2K of you do say 300fps on the Epic-M or about 120fps on the Epic-S. Both will keep you at 5K up to at least 60fps.
