Shooting at 150 fps or higher. Help needed.

I am working on a sequence to be captured in digital video at 150 or more frames per second.

Do you have any suggestion even in SD? :cheesy:

We are going to shoot an artist performance. Sort of explosion that hopefully will not kill everybody around.

No "low-cost" cameras can do that.

Might be a job for film. .. Or then a specialized high-speed digital camera (and they can go as fast as you can afford!)

Shoot it on film. You can rent a 16mm Photosonics Actionmaster camera (or others). Shoot with a video-tap or an adjacent video camera. Of course you won't get the slo-mo in the video, but it may provide the instant info you need to determine if you got the shot you want or not.
