..im not really sure what you are talking about here, but if your asking about how yuo would letterbox the 16:9 footage to play it back in a 4:3 window, well you could either load a 4:3 project, and use a letterbox filter if your nle has one, or you could scale the image, and pull the bottom up. and the top down so that its a 16:9 ratio in the center of the 4:3 window. or you could use a dve to flaot the 16:9 fottage in the middle of the 4:3 window. but if your talking about how to ge the 16:9 footage to play back in a 16:9 window so that it fills the monitor window at normal dimensions, all you have to do is create a 16:9 project, and designate the pixel aspect ratio of the footage as the 1.2 widscreen aspect.
