Shooting a Wedding in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Do I need a work visa? I was told no but would hate it if I need to.
Shooting with (2) HVX 200 720 24pn at 24 frames. Looking to shoot 720 at 60 fps on some slow-mo. Is there anything I should look out for or setting with the cam?

Gig has been paid already!

i've been to Costa rica many times (san jose and jaco beach). you don't need a work visa.

I've been to costa rica many times and have been told by every single person down there that there are very stringent rules about americans working in the country. I even watched an american waitress duck behind furniture in a restaurant in Dominical when some cops drove by.

That said............M.A. is still a pretty remote place on a relatively minimally developed coastline (especially once you get away from jaco and tamarindo), and even if it is an issue, your chances of getting noticed are pretty slim.

I'd at least look into it though. National parks come with national park employees to some degree.
