Shooting a Motorcross event...best settings?

The stuff I just posted was shot in "video" and at 480p. I had the shutter down to 1/48 because the lighting was so bad at the track.

To answer your question normally under well lite conditions and with fast moving subjects 1000 on the shutter works well for me.

how do you set the shutter to 1000? is that in video cam mode? in film cam mode it only goes up to 350

Correct.. Video mode... Only time I ever use film cam is when I need to under/over crank

Its 4.4 meg and a slow loader but stop at any frame and look at the detail. I'm still in awe at what these little hvx 200's can do.

So that is with the bare 170? I am looking at CA on the edge of the white concrete where the two guys are standing. That worries me.

that was shot with the 200. This version is highly compressed and the colors are not accurate compared to original
