Shooting a feature - Scene file advice

Hates to Rent
I'm shooting a feature in the spring on my HVX and Letus Extreme setup. I like the look of Barry's FILMIC scene file - it more or less suits what I'm after. Should I use that file or should I leave the settings more neutral and do more in post?

Output is direct to DVD but potentially a small festival run on some big screens.

I am shooting a feature starting next week. I have done some tests and have come up with my best scenario. I am going to shoot 720/30P. I modified scene file 1 to reflect the 30 frames per second. I also set the Ped to -10 because I am shooting a Vampire feature and will have lots of dark shots and this has very small amount of grain. I am using cineD because I intend to color grade in post and I like the cineD look the best for this genre.

Scene file 1 settings:

Operation Type - Film Cam
Frame Rate - 30FRAME
Syncro Scan - 180.0d
Master Ped - -10
Gamma - Cinelike D
Matrix - Cine-like
Skin Tone DTL - OFF

Everything else I leave set at 0.

Of course I suggest you take a look at these and tweak to your liking.
